Patrick Paschall - Running Back
Height: 6-1   Weight: 195   Hometown: Duluth, GA (Chattahoochee HS)   Class: 2005
ESPN: NR

Patrick Paschall feels that he is one the best players in the state of Georgia this year, but he just hasn't had his name out there enough. Patrick has received an offer from Central Florida, and is receiving interest from Clemson, Illinois, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Duke, and Georgia.

"We had a coaching change after last season, and I got lost in the shuffle. My new coach is better at sending out tapes and information to the schools. My offensive coordinator does the 7 on 7 passing camp at Clemson every year. I am confident Clemson will offer, but I am not sure when. I think after my first couple of games my stock will really go up."

Paschall attend camps at Clemson, Illinois, and the Nike camp this summer.

"At the Nike camp, it was like my first combine. I was real nervous, and plus I am used to running track. I had to learn how to shorten my strides to accelerate better.

The Illinois camp went better. I went up there with my teammate Travis Barr, who is committed to them right now. They would have offered me, if I told them I would come there, but I wasn't ready to make a decision yet.

I had the second fastest forty time at the Clemson camp. I ran a 4.4. Clemson was mainly looking at me as a defensive back. Coach Burns is recruiting me. He seems like a real down to earth type guy."

Paschall could play in the secondary, wide receiver, or running back. He is open to playing anything that would get him on the field.

"I have been a starter on varsity for three years, and my coach never would let me play defense. This year they are letting me play free safety. I will play any position that gets me on the field, even if it is kicker or punter."

Paschall hails from the same high school as current Clemson QB Charlie Whitehurst.

"I know if I go to Clemson I would have some big shoes to fill. I know Charlie, and he is a good guy. I wouldn't mind following him."
