from Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek is scheduled to make his college announcement at 7 p.m. Friday. Whichever school lands Humphries also will get a head start in hopes of landing his teammate rising junior cornerback Brian Walker. Speculation has centered on Florida securing Humphries. He also is considering Auburn, Clemson, South Carolina and Tennessee. Humphries is the top offensive tackle in the nation. He has good feet, great athleticism, and long arms. Humphries has not allowed a sack since he was a freshman in high school. He is getting better and better each year. He grew up in South Carolina. Won MVP at the Blacksburg Nike Camp in May 2010. Has only played one year of Offensive line. Played mostly DT prior to 2010. Named No. 15 overall recruit in the nation and No. 1 in the Carolinas by national analyst Tom Lemming. The Observer named Humphries the top junior in the state. Class of 2012 ESPNU 150 Watch List Recruit. He has accepted invitation to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. #2 rated player and 5 star recruit based on the 2012 AthleteVault NC/SC Rankings.
