Clemson has offered 4-star 2017 defensive end Robert Beal Jr. from Norcross, Georgia on Monday according to his twitter account.
TigerNet spoke with Beal on Tuesday morning and he said that he was excited about the Clemson offer. He talked to Tony Elliot on the phone and was relayed the offer. As a sophomore in eight games, he had 19 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Beal has offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Illinois, Miami, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, Toledo and others. He grew up a big Georgia fan. Georgia and Florida State are two schools that could be big players in his recruitment throughout the next two years. His former high school teammate and friend Lorenzo Carter plays for Georgia. I want to thank Clemson for blessings me with another offer @ClemsonFB pic.twitter.com/t6nUXHtwND
