Clemson has offered 4-star 2019 defensive end Brandon Smith from Mineral, VA (Louisa County) on Monday according to his Twitter account.
"Blessed and Honored to receive an offer from Clemson Tigers," Smith posted. Smith has national offers from Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Temple, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. Virginia was the first school to offer him back in February but since then his recruitment has exploded. As a sophomore, he had 75 tackles including 10 for loss and six sacks. Smith visited Clemson back on their junior day in March. He wants to make a decision on his college choice before his senior season and plans on studying forensic science or architecture in college.
