4-star 2017 offensive tackle Noah DeHond from Hightstown, New Jersey committed to Clemson on Monday according to his Twitter account.
DeHond chose the Tigers over his other finalists Alabama and North Carolina. "I am extremely excited to say that I will continue my academic and athletic career at Clemson University," DeHond tweeted on Monday evening. "After talking it over with my family and friends and looking at all Clemson has to offer. I Could not pass up the opportunity. Thanks to Coach Swinney and his staff for believing in me as a person and a football player. I can't wait to be a Tiger!" #ALLIN He is a 4-star recruit by the majority of the recruiting services and one of the top overall prospects in New Jersey's 2017 class. His Top 10 schools in late July included Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Louisville, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, UCLA, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin. DeHond has national offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Clemson, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, Old Dominion, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, South Carolina, Temple, UCLA, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin. Clemson offered on 5/27/15 and his two main recruiters were Brent Venables and Robbie Caldwell. The towering offensive lineman was recently reclassified to a 2017 prospect and moved from Rochester, New York to Hightstown, New Jersey. He is the second Clemson commitment for the 2017 recruiting class this week (Baylon Spector). Here it is.
