247Sports released its expanded rankings
for 2021 class on Tuesday, showing a very early look into Clemson's picture for the future.
Clemson doesn't have a 2021 commit yet but they have handed out five reported offers, with four on the defensive side in cornerback Tony Grimes (No. 26; No. 3 CB), defensive tackle Katron Evans (No. 145; No. 8 DT), linebacker and Virginia Tech commit Aaron Willis (No. 162; No. 10 OLB) and linebacker Chaz Chambliss (No. 249; No. 15 OLB) and then top-100 offensive tackle Micah Morris (No. 54; No. 9 OT).
In terms of 247Sports Crystal Ball picks, two Peach State products in Chambliss and tight end and recent visitor Cane Berrong (6-4.5 220; No. 57 overall and No. 1 TE) have early projections to Clemson among the top-250.
Scheduled spring game visitors out of the 2021 class made the top-250 in SDE JC Latham (6-5.5 250; No. 74; Bradenton, Fla.), OT Terrence Ferguson (6-4 282; No. 90; Fort Valley, Ga.), RB Evan Pryor (5-11 175; No. 112; Cornelius, N.C.), WDE Jeremiah Williams (6-3 215; No. 159; Birmingham, Al.), WDE Landyn Watson (6-3 230; No. 166; Hutto, Tx.), DT James Gillespie (6-2 260; No. 167; Woodbridge, Va.), C Ryan Linthicum (6-4 275; No. 172; Damascus, Md.), DT Tim Keenan (6-2 340; No. 204; Birmingham, Al.) and OT Colston Powers (6-5 285; No. 235; Daleville, Va.),
On the defensive side, a December visitor in Greensboro, N.C.'s Payton Page (6-4 315; No. 2 DT) was ranked No. 6 overall. One Alabama spring practice visitor Pinson Valley cornerback Ga'Quincy McKinstry (6-1 175) was also in the top-10 (No. 7; No. 2 CB) and another cracked the top-30 in WDE Dylan Brooks (6-5 225; No. 25; No. 2 WDE; Handley HS).
On the offensive side, another recent visitor in No. 4 pro-style QB Brock Vandagriff (6-2.5 188; Bogart, Ga.) checked in at No. 33 overall.
