2018 inside linebacker Braden Gilby from Tampa Bay, FL (Jesuit HS) took part in the first session of the 2016 Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

Gilby was impressed with the camp and the campus at Clemson.

"The visit was amazing! I enjoyed meeting Coach Venables," Gilby said. "The campus was awesome too! I loved the small atmosphere of the college town and it really had a great vibe to it. Can't wait to make it out to a game this season!"

Gilby has no football offers yet but it is still early in the process.

"Coach explained to me that he's very interested in me but he has only a few spots open at the moment and isn't focused on 2018 yet," Gilby said. "He still has his attention on the 2017 class but hopes to get in touch with me this fall."

He was the defensive MVP for Jesuit and 1st team defense on the All-County team by the Tampa Bay Tribune after leading his team with 128 tackles, including an impressive 14 for loss.
