Playing time breakdown: Tigers fresh going into final stretch

by - Staff Writer -

Clemson hits the homestretch with a relatively fresh roster and one bye week to go before the state and conference championship games.

Only three starters have averaged 50 or more snaps a game, in quarterback Trevor Lawrence (53), offensive tackle Tremayne Anchrum (52) and linebacker Isaiah Simmons (50).

In all, 66 of the 70-man travel roster saw action at NC State, with those being held for redshirts accounting for some that didn't play. Of that group, only Lawrence and offensive linemen John Simpson, Jackson Carman and Gage Cervenka topped 50 snaps on Saturday.
