Playing time breakdown: Rotation tight for Tiger offense against Georgia

by - Staff Writer -

Clemson's rotation was tight on the offensive side of the ball in the 10-3 loss to No. 5 Georgia on Saturday.

The Tiger offense played only one off the bench on the offensive line and tight end and 18 players total.

The running back rotation shows Lyn-J Dixon's absence in the first half for a team rules suspension and then 18 snaps on the other side of the break. He saw a lone carry for 10 yards, however, leading Clemson in rushing.

Of note defensively, Myles Murphy (35) and Xavier Thomas (31) paced the snaps at DE with Justin Foster (23) and Justin Mascoll (20) next.

The top-2 behind Bryan Bresee on the interior were Ruke Orhorhoro (48) and Tré Williams (28).

The LB starters basically played the whole game with James Skalski (62), Trenton Simpson (52) and Baylon Spector (51).

The rotation was heaviest in the secondary the most interesting development being freshman Andrew Mukuba going 59 plays (eight tackles/PBU) over the veteran Lannden Zanders (5 snaps).
