Playing time breakdown: Clemson starters see career-high action going into ACCCG

Clemson ran its most plays since the 2016 national title win over Alabama and that meant a bunch of playing time for the Tigers’ offensive starters.
Travis Etienne saw a career-high 28 carries over a career-best 48 snaps, scoring two touchdowns and rushing for 150 or more yards in a fifth game this season. On the flip side, senior Adam Choice made the most of his limited action - touching the ball in seven of his 10 plays and scoring three touchdowns with an 8 yards per carry average.
On the defensive side, struggles on the back-end meant more of a shuffled rotation - junior Denzel Johnson playing a career-high 47 snaps with five stops and a pass breakup and sophomore Nolan Turner in on 18 snaps with two tackles. Starter K’Von Wallace played his lowest amount of action since the Furman opener, adding four tackles in 31 plays. Fellow safety starter Tanner Muse matched his snap count from the Duke game (62) with six tackles and a PBU.
