Former Clemson defensive end Austin Bryant has signed his rookie contract, per a Detroit Lions announcement on Monday.

The contract is estimated to be worth $3.25 million with nearly $677,500 guaranteed after going in the fourth round of the NFL draft with the 117th overall pick (Spotrac).

Bryant earned first-team All-American honors in 2017 with 15.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks and picked up all-bowl selections this past season after a Playoff run that included four tackles for loss and two sacks.

The Pavo, Georgia product totaled 153 tackles, 35 for loss, with 20 sacks and 32 QB pressures over 51 games (29 starts).

He played through a pectoral injury down the stretch of last season and had offseason surgery that held him out of pre-draft workouts. Bryant was seventh defensive end selected in the NFL draft according to NFL.com.
