Clemson DB target commits to NC State

This was a little surprising.

Four-star 2019 Rocky Mount, N.C. cornerback Shyheim Battle had an announcement date of December 15 for his commitment but pledged to North Carolina State on Wednesday.

Clemson and North Carolina State were the top two schools in his recruitment as he had nearly 20 offers from around the country.

He is credited with 31 stops, one for loss, with three pass breakups as a junior.
