Atlanta, GA (September 26, 2004) - Clemson junior kick returner Justin Miller, who returned two kickoffs for scores (97 yards and 86

yards) and amassed an NCAA-record 282 yards on six returns in the Tigers' 41-22 loss at Florida State yesterday, has been selected as a Cingular Wireless/ABC Sports All-America Player of the Week finalist.

Miller is one of four candidates for the All-America Player of the Week, who are selected by a panel of ABC Sports and ESPN college football analysts, led by John Saunders. The other finalists are:

Florida running back Ciatrick Fason, who rushed 31 times for a career-best 210 yards and two touchdowns in the Gators' 20-3 win over Kentucky;

Purdue quarterback Kyle Orton, a previous Cingular/ABC Sports All-America Player of the Week award winner, who completed 35 of 50 passes for 366 yards and four touchdowns in the Boilermakers'

38-30 victory at Illinois;

and Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn, who connected on 17 of 32 passes for 266 yards and four touchdowns in Notre Dame's 38-3 victory over Washington.

Who will be this week's winner is still undecided and the final decision now rests in the hands of college football fans nationwide.

For the first time in college football history, fans can now make the call on who they think deserves to be the All-America Player of the Week with the power and ease of wireless text-messaging. Cingular is making the voting open to other wireless carriers* allowing even more fans to participate. Fans can also vote online at www.abcsportsallamerica.com or at ESPN.com (keyword: cingular).

Tiger fans can show their support for Miller by voting for him up until 8 p.m. EST on Sunday, September 26. The winner will be announced during the September 26 11 p.m. EST broadcast of ESPN "SportsCenter".
