View Full Profile toured the Clemson campus with his parents Friday, and the 6-4, 300-pounder said he was blown away by his visit.

“It went great and I loved everything about it,” Flint told TigerNet Friday evening. “I can't complain about one thing at all. Clemson – there is just something special about it. It stood out. It was a lot nicer than I expected, and I absolutely loved it. It was incredible, and as far as colleges go, it will be one of my top choices.”

Many of the Clemson coaches are still on vacation, but recruiter Charlie Harbison was on hand to show Flint the Clemson campus. For Flint, however, the new Clemson weight room was what really caught his eye.

“We got there around 10, and met with Coach Cheese [Harbison] and he took us on a tour of the facilities,” Flint said. “We made the tour around the facilities and learned about the tradition and the family atmosphere. Then we went to talk with the academic guy.

“But, that weight room was phenomenal and it stood out among everything else. I like how they run the weight room and work out the players. I also like how the offensive line works out together. I met the strength coach who works with the offensive line, and they have new technology I haven’t seen before. It was cool. We line guys are not like skill players and we don’t have that natural talent. We get better in the weight room.”

Flint says he wants to come back to Clemson for a game this fall.

“I want to visit this fall when I can meet everybody,” he said. “My parents loved it, and they were shocked at just how nice everything was. They also said it was close enough to home for them, and they were pleased and said it was a place they would like for me to go.”

He told TigerNet he wants to make a decision soon, but wants to keep the final announcement until he plays in the Under Armour All American Game.

“I do want to hold off until then, but I want to make sure the school I choose knows before then,” he said. “They are picking their linemen now, and I want to make sure I get counted and don’t lose a chance to go somewhere I want to go. Right now, I still have some more visiting to do. And then I am going to make the best decision for me.”
