More on Billie: Billie is a fast and powerful runner who is also the Class AAA 100-meter champion. As a junior, he rushed for 2003 yards and 19 touchdowns. Injuries cost him two games, but he finished his senior season with 1550 yards and 20 touchdowns. Recruited by Brad Scott.

Quoting Billie: "The reason I chose Clemson is I wanted to be close to home, but not too close to home to where I would have to keep going home to my mother and everything."

"Clemson wants me to play running back. They said they needed a speed back. They said I fit in with their program with what they are trying to do right now."

"The main difference is that the coaches at Clemson seemed more into me. Tommy Bowden has at least six more years. Really, I didn’t want to be that close to home in Columbia."
