The top player in Massachusetts officially cut his top schools down to a trio, with Clemson in that mix.

Four-star 2025 offensive lineman Hardy Watts has a top schools group of Clemson, Wisconsin and Michigan now.

Watts is coming off of visits to Clemson and Wisconsin and is scheduled to visit Michigan next weekend. He was originally going to visit the home-state Boston College Eagles next weekend but switched to a Michigan stop.

Clemson O-line coach Matt Luke visited Watts last month at his high school, and Watts went into his official visit to Clemson with a positive opinion of the program.

“I really love Clemson,” Watts said. “I love what Coach (Dabo) Swinney is about. I love what the message is from the staff and what the program is about. Clemson itself, the campus is absolutely beautiful, and the guys in that locker room are amazing as well. They have some local kids from Boston who are down there who have had success, and that only adds to the appeal.”

Michigan is a narrow favorite over Clemson with On3's Prediction Machine, while a 247Sports Crystal Ball Prediction has him going to the Tigers.
