Four-star 2017 defensive end Jordan Williams out of Virginia Beach (VA) Cox picked up a football scholarship offer from Baylor on Tuesday according to his Twitter account.

Williams is a consensus 4-star recruit by all the major recruiting services and rated as high as the fourth-best defensive end in the country according to Rivals.com.

He is the No. 257 player in the ESPN300 and has 29 scholarship offers including from Baylor, Clemson, Florida, Marshall, Maryland, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, South Carolina, Southern California, Temple, Texas State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

As a junior, he had 39 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, five sacks, two interceptions, seven pass deflections, a forced fumble and recovered two fumbles including one returned for a touchdown.
