Former Clemson offensive lineman waived by Panthers

Former Clemson offensive lineman Isaiah Battle was waived by the Carolina Panthers on Monday.

Battle had signed a reserve/future contract with the Carolina Panthers during the offseason. He didn't play in 2018 and has been on three previous teams with the Seahawks, Chiefs, and Rams.

Previously, he left Clemson early to go in the 2015 NFL supplemental draft (St. Louis Rams), was then traded by the Kansas City Chiefs to the Seattle Seahawks for a 2018 conditional seventh-round pick.

The 25-year old Brooklyn native, started 15-of-27 games played while with Clemson, posting 32 knockdowns in 1,336 snaps.
