Dorian O'Daniel has signed his rookie contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, the team announced Tuesday night.
Spotrac estimated O'Daniel's slotted contract to be worth $3.1 million with a $732,032 signing bonus. The Olney, Maryland product was a finalist for the Butkus Award and made first-team All-America last season from Sports Illustrated and Bleacher Report. O’Daniel totaled 104 tackles, 11.5 TFL, five sacks and two pick-sixes. He logged 1,465 snaps over 56 games (27 starts) in four seasons with three interceptions, five PBUs, two caused fumbles, 8.5 sacks and 28 TFLs. O'Daniel is tied for first in Clemson history with 47 special teams tackles and ranks second in games played. O'Daniel is playing with two former Tigers on the K.C. roster currently in Sammy Watkins and Jarvis Jenkins.
