Former Clemson DB released by Colts |
Former Clemson defensive back
T.J. Green was released by the Indianapolis Colts on Friday.
Green had tallied 88 stops over two seasons at the NFL level and had been listed as week-to-week with a hamstring injury during camp. "Thank you @colts nation. #NextChapter," Green posted on Twitter Friday. He was drafted in the second round by the Colts in 2016, playing cornerback and safety in his time there. Thank you @colts nation. #NextChapter 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. The #Colts did, in fact, release TJ Green, former 2nd rounder. https://t.co/uzUgVSWm1l Green, a player former coach Chuck Pagano wanted out of Clemson, never found a niche with the Colts. Safety. Then cornerback. Back to safety. https://t.co/5Sowc3zDOs
