ESPN doesn't include Clemson in Top 10 of 'WRU' schools |
ESPN released their
latest positional rankings recently and Clemson was not ranked in the Top 10 of 'WRU' schools.
The formula for the rankings was based mostly on all-conference performers, All-Americans, NFL draft picks and stars from the pro ranks. The top 10 'WRU' schools were USC, Ohio State, Florida State, Oklahoma State, LSU, Oklahoma, Florida, Michigan, Alabama, and Notre Dame. These schools all have a decent tradition of putting receivers in the league. However, not to include Clemson in the rankings at all is certainly a head-scratcher. ESPN has got to pay attention to all the receiver talent in the NFL that has been coming out of Clemson with Jacoby Ford, DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, Martavis Bryant, Jaron Brown, Adam Humphries, Mike Williams, Artavis Scott, and others.
