According to what we have heard, there was a fatality in the wreck, and that appears to be a close friend of Carlos'.

UPDATE 9:43PM EST: There were unconfirmed reports of Watkins being in surgery and breaking his leg. However, it appears that his injuries are relatively minor. He will be kept overnight at the hospital.

UPDATE 10:32PM EST: From Clemson SID: Clemson sophomore defensive tackle Carlos Watkins was involved in an auto accident near his home in Forest City, North Carolina today. He was taken to a local hospital for observation and will be held over night. Initial reports are that he is free of any serious injury.
