Early concern about the FB team...

Apr 9, 2021, 9:35 PM

I just saw on the website schedule today that we lost our Spring Game 14-13. I know we have had some injuries but if we can't even win our own Spring Game that really concerns me. All we can do is trust that Dabo will right the ship before the fall. Go Tigers!

I assume your username indicates your CCR fandom

I'm a big fan of CCR along with the Eagles and Pink
Floyd and a couple other 70s rock groups. Of course
Fortunate Son was their top song -

I'm partial to #s 3, 5, and 7 but you can't go wrong
with most of their songs.

Funny, in the early 80s when John Fogerty went solo, the band
sued him for basically sounding like CCR, which was weird
since he was usually the lead singer when he was with them.
I subscribe to a Youtube channel called Grunge which has some
interesting stories though a bit exaggerated at times. They
have an interesting video about Fogerty and the band -

Plus, I was fortunate to be at Clemson when Danny coached. A fun Pink Floyd fact...Pink Anderson was born in Laurens and is buried in Spartanburg. Floyd Council was born in Chapel Hill.

Although Pink Floyd developed their own sound you just can't help but hear the piedmont blues influence amid the psychedelia, especially in their early stuff. Fearless and Seamus come to mind right off the top of my head.
