Safties may be weaker because the O line talent has improved greatly. However, I'm not sure how well they'll hold up against UGA in run blocking. Their D line is big and fast which is something we struggle with. Hopefully, pass blocking will be good for week 1 because I expect us to have trouble running the ball.

The OL should be stronger because of another session in the weight room. Don't know if they will be better.

Yeah, I think that hurt us a bit not having the full spring and summer normal routine. I think it'll be a strength and not our weakest. Mainly because they'll have a healthy D Line they'll be going up against... At least I hope that's the case and not the other way around.

How many of the last 10 years have we had a good offensive line?
Bingo - a few years average and the remaining years a weak spot - particularly in the run game. We lose our best lineman to the draft so I expect more of the same but hope that we get a surprise from a couple of the newcomers. We seem to be undersized compared to the elite teams. Bama is monstrous.

I’d take that OL we had the year we lost to LSU any day of the week when we had 4 Seniors in Simpson, Anchrum, Pollard, & Cervenka.

Offense makes it hard to block run plays when they know we are gonna run. We have five blockers most plays against what is usually a 4-3. The math don’t work. We have to be more creative in the run game. Having a full contingent of WRs will certainly help make the run game better.
Additionally, an extra year of playing together and knowing what the guy next to you is gonna do (sometimes he stays on his man, sometimes he goes to the backer) will help. ....
I think they will be better and not be the weakest link.
