Watson's NFL career is not over, by a long shot.

Mar 19, 2021, 7:38 PM

As athletes go through what he is going through now people naturally say, "He's guilty in the court of public opinion. No team will risk it. He's done."

His problems will never rise to the level of Tiger Woods, Michael Vick, Kobe Bryant or Jameis Winston. They are probably closer to those of Danute Culpepper in the court of public opinion.

When this thing runs its course, and it will, his NFL career will survive.

Culpepper! HA!

I played softball against him a few years ago. Nice dude. I played 3B, and you needed to be awake when he was at bat. Fun times.

I don't know anyone who seriously thinks DW's career is over. This is likely going to cost him a lot and even more of his reputation. If this is true, endorsements are probably gone. He'll still be a great NFL and make a ton of money.

Yep

But he was just starting to emerge as a face of the Nfl with marketing and promotion. That is likely over.

For now at least. Ray Lewis was able to rekindle his image pretty well
