Most of us are super excited to have Austin join our team (as an analyst?).
If he is indeed an analyst, is there any NCAA rule that prevents him from acting like an assistant O-Line coach during Spring practice?

made provision for up to FIVE Strength and Conditioning Coaches. But, as Nick Saban has shown, you can hire as many highly paid "consultant" coaches as your budget can stand. Alabama's success is no accident. Saban loses assistants every year, but every year, he also brings in behind the scenes guys with scads of college and/or NFL experience. Some of these are well known names, and definitely give him a recruiting advantage. This is one area where those extra SEC millions coming in gives the SEC a real advantage.

Thank you.
I think Austin and Crowder will be a big help with one-on-one instruction. And sine Austin made it to the leagjue (albeit short), the young men are more likely to respect what he shares.

I think he’s here to “analyze” how to be the next oline coach at CU. I have no doubt he will help in recruiting as well. You know what they say “takes one to know one” and he knows what it takes.
