waiting game, hoping Watson gets traded, and then trying to join whatever team he goes to? That would not really surprise me, they developed a huge mutual respect and friendship when they were both rehabbing at the same facility from major surgeries a couple years ago.

No, of the 3 teams left he is considering only one may have a need for Watson. Green Bay and Buffalo are set at QB. Tennessee has Tannehill under contract, but would take Watson if they could make the numbers work imo. Per his agent and 2 other NFL reporters, including Clayton, he has eliminated everybody else.

but you may not be the only one thinking this.

This is a once-in-a-career decision for JJ. He's only thinking of himself, which is appropriate. He wants (1) to play on a contender, (2) have a legit pass-rusher on the other end and (3) the culture must be right.

Money will take care of itself if the team wants him.
