Clemson has offered 2019 guard Trey McGowens from Piedmont, South Carolina (Wren HS) on Wednesday according to his Twitter account.

"Blessed to receive an offer from my Hometown School Clemson Tigers," McGowens posted. #GoTigers

McGowens was recently reclassified as a 2019 recruit as he transferred in August to Hargrave Military Academy for his senior year of high school.

As a junior, McGowens averaged 18.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 3.6 steals.

He has a wide range of offers including App State, Arkansas State, Boston University, Charleston, Charlotte, East Carolina, East Tennessee State, Elon, Florida Gulf Coast, Furman, Georgia Southern, Kansas State, Mercer, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina Wilmington, Norfolk State, North Carolina A&T, Rice, South Carolina State, South Carolina Upstate, South Florida, Southern Miss, Southern Utah, St. Bonaventure, Tennessee Tech, Western Carolina, William & Mary, Winthrop, Wofford, and Wyoming.
