Filer apologizes for tweets earlier in the week |
On Monday, Filer had tweeted that "If no one likes the coach then the team won't work because no one will follow him as a leader or respect him as a coach. It don't matter with the assistants but if you're not liked as a HEAD coach then it's something yu need to change dude."
It appears that the bad timed tweets [after a rough season for Clemson] have caused some of the Clemson fanbase to believe that the tweets were about Clemson's coaching staff. It is really nothing I can say to my Tiger fans to make all this drama go away but I do sincerely apologize for my tweets the other day! No one is making me do this. I'm just taking it upon myself to apologize. I wasn't thinking at all. I was being real immature man. In case there is any misunderstanding Brad Brownell is doing all he can to help this program. Honestly he is a great coach I was never talking about him with the tweets. I would never question what he does for this team. Again I apologize. I am truly all in for #TigerNation I love the town, the school, the team, the fans and all my coaches. I hope all my tiger fans can find it in their hearts to forgive me. I love yu all!! Nothing like this will ever happen again. I'm just trying to grow up now as a Player. Student. And Person.
