This is one of the worst years for ACC basketball in many years. The fact that we have a decent season is the same one we use when the Dirtpeckers finish second in the SEC least division. End of the day and ugly girl is still ugly no matter how many ugly friends you put around her.

That makes absolutely no sense. It is bad for UNC and Duke but that is what makes it a GREAT season.
97/98 was one of the ACC's worst seasons. Only 3 teams finished above .500 and only 3 had 20+ wins. Sure, Duke/UNC were strong - Duke lost early, UNC lost in the final 4.
Rick Barnes still only finished 7-9 left early at West Mich for Texas.
What is funny is that our OOC schedule/record actually proves the otherwise. We beat the Nate Oat's and company, one of the few ACC wins over the B10 - although the ACC's top 5 did not have a loss to the B10 this season.
This was a good season, still good and we are still campaigning.
