2020 SS commits to Clemson |
2020 Green Bay (Wi.) shortstop
Max Wagner announced a commitment to Clemson on Tuesday. Wagner has been one of Green Bay Preble's offensive leaders by hitting for power and average at a high rate.
In a run to the state championship, Wagner hit .444 with 10 doubles, 16 RBIs and 20 runs scored, amassing a 1.202 OPS and a .653 slugging percentage. He also carried in a 5-1 record with a 1.31 ERA and a 0.72 WHIP as a right-handed pitcher. Clemson's 2020 class has four out-of-state commitments so far, ranging as far West as Seattle's Kenji Suzuki. I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Clemson University! #GoTigers???? pic.twitter.com/P1KAEipsj1 Max Wagner (2020, Green Bay, Wis. / Preble HS) has committed to @ClemsonBaseball!
