2015: Hit .200 with three runs, one double, one RBI, a .273 on-base percentage, one walk and one hit-by-pitch in 25 games (two starts at second base) ... led the offensive players in games off the bench (23) ... was 2-for-6 (.333) with runners in scoring position ... was 3-for-7 (.429) with a .556 on-base percentage in 12 games away from home ... hit a double off the bench in his first career plate appearance against Maine at Augusta, Ga. on Feb. 20 ... came off the bench, hit a single and scored a run at NC State on March 8 ... went 1-for-2 with an RBI off the bench at Western Carolina on March 24 ... played for Florence in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, where he hit .211 with 21 runs, seven doubles, eight RBIs, 21 walks, 11 hit-by-pitches, a .390 on-base percentage and one steal in 40 games.

Before Clemson: Played in the Palmetto Games ... all-region as a sophomore and senior ... team MVP as a senior ... received the team’s Defensive Award as a senior ... No. 5 player and No. 2 shortstop in South Carolina by Diamond Prospects ... No. 12 player in South Carolina by Perfect Game ... lettered five times in baseball and one time in football at Dorman High School, where he was coached by Matthew West.
