• Clemson had a 36-25 overall record and 15-14 ACC mark in 2014.

• The Tigers return five of nine position starters and 59 percent of their innings pitched from the 2014 team.

WEST VIRGINIA OVERVIEW

• West Virginia is led by third-year Head Coach Randy Mazey, who hit .331 with 20 homers and 65 steals in 216 games as a Tiger from 1985-88.

• The Mountaineers, who will start three pitchers from the state of Texas, had a 28-26 overall record and 9-14 Big 12 Conference mark in 2014.

• Senior outfielder Brad Johnson, who played at USC Sumter in 2013, returns after hitting .318 in 2014.

QUICK HITS

• Clemson is 23-10 overall and 13-2 at home against the seven current Big 12 Conference teams it has played (has not faced TCU or Texas).

LEGGETT BY THE NUMBERS

• In 35 overall years, he has 1,300 wins, tied for ninth-most in Division I history and fifth-most among active coaches.

• He won his 1,300th career game in Clemson’s 3-2 walkoff win over No. 3 Miami (Fla.) in the ACC Tournament in Greensboro, N.C. on May 22.

• His 923 wins as head coach at Clemson (1994-14) are seventh-most in the nation during that span.

• He has led Clemson to a winning ACC regular-season record 20 times in his first 21 seasons.

• He has 236 top-25 wins, 128 top-10 wins and 63 top-five wins as head coach at Clemson.

DKS RENOVATIONS

• Doug Kingsmore Stadium is undergoing renovations to keep it amongst the best facilities in the country.

• This past offseason, 150 premium seats were added at field level directly behind home plate.

• Both dugouts were expanded, making them two of the largest dugouts in the country.

• A new baseball facility is under construction behind the first-base dugout and is scheduled to be completed in the spring.

• The three-story building will house a spacious lockerroom, museum, meeting rooms and coaches offices among other amenities.
