it would’ve swept this below average VA team. Clemson lost this series, because it’s below average. This was supposed to be a winnable weekend, next up are CofC, Wake Forest, Georgia, Louisville, and the Coot game.
This program is stagnant. Yeah, we’re a football school, but there’s no excuse for our baseball and basketball programs to be struggling like they are.
What are the answers? More money, new coaches?
I love Clemson baseball, and it seems like some hard questions should be asked. That goes for Clemson reporters, who are typically sunshine pumpers, and don’t want to offend the coaches. No excuses for this team not having fundamentals and consistent hitting. Feel like I’m watching my kid’s middle school baseball team instead of a Div 1 team.

The team is really young and has had a bunch of injuries, BUT...

Monte gets one more year and if we don’t make it to a Super Regional he’s got to go.

I like Monte and his positive attitude, but this team’s fundamentals and overall results are terrible. And this seems to be the trend for his teams the past 3-4 years.

Clemson Baseball now feels like Clemson Basketball. AND THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Baseball and Basketball aren't terrible , they're just not great right now .
Baseball is really young and they are playing that way .

Basketball made the NCAA this year (albeit in an ACC down-year) and they need some recruit help for sure .

Don't give up !
