what appears to be the issue. It's not like we're getting blown out. are there game situations that we can be handling better.

Pitchers struggle recent. Can’t get a starter to last. We are up in t he count and then serve them up some. Batters swinging at balls in dirt. Batters trying to hit hr and we are popping up the ball. Getting thrown out some on bases. Fundamentals if I’m gonna sum it up.

Trackman has nothing to do with the team struggling.
It is simply a measurement device and has no effect on performance.
Saying that having a Trackman has ruined our offense (by the way, it measures pitches also) is like saying we should stop letting scouts bring radar guns to the games because it keeps our pitchers from throwing strikes.
Trackman gives information to our coaches and players about what is going right (not much) and what is going wrong (a lot). I doesn't change how the players try to play the game.

Many players love trackman and love exit velo and such. Who cares. My kids loved when we brought radar gun out to see what they threw. It takes focus off.

If they go to the games you already know they watch the games . I feel like you could have just said watches the games , tightened up the prologue as it were .
I think we've been hitting poorly , and our pitching is very young . I don't have any answer to the actual question asked , but I do think we'll get better with a few more series played .

Missing on talent evaluation in a tough 11.7 scholly limit environment, but I think lack of player development is an even bigger problem. We have good arms now but it looks like only Gilbert and Sharpe have more than one quality pitch. The others fall behind in the count and get into trouble plus can’t hold up after one cycle thru the lineup.
Finally fundamentals and displine. The Tarheels advanced two base runners in the first yesterday because of our outfielders being lazy throwing the ball back to the infielder. It was obvious they saw that tendency in the two prior games. Embarrassing. I put that squarely on the Lee and his staff.

It also sounds like our hitters don't have much meat on their bones so not much chance of a power hitter.

Scoring runs. Nothing beats that. The team that scores the most wins EVERY game. The Tigers haven’t figured that out yet apparently. I wonder how many runs the Tigers have scored this year based only on home runs? I bet almost all the runs came as a result of a homer.

Batting average with RISP is killing us

What was the stat somebody mentioned the other day - we've got something like a 2-41 streak going currently (.048). Almost mathematically impossible. It's mental - they're not eating pressure like candy like they used to.

You win when you learn how to manufacture runs. That, to me, is the fun part of baseball and watching the Tigers is certainly not much fun these days.
