Recruiting Presence
Monday evening Clemson received a commitment from
Noah DeHondNoah DeHond The commitment was significant for a couple of reasons. First, the Tigers are in need of offensive linemen. The class of 2016 is weak in the offensive line across the south and the Tigers are expected to bring in only three offensive linemen in this class. Therefore, the class of 2017 will see an emphasis on offensive linemen. It also shows the Tigers national recruiting presence. Clemson now has a better chance to go into other regions of the country and get top commitments. This is important when the local and regional pools are limited at certain positions. Over the weekend Clemson got a legacy commitment when

Clemson Clubs I love this time of year because of the excitement surrounding the beginning of Clemson's football season. Part of the pre-season for me is traveling to speak to local Clemson clubs. Two nice events are on the schedule for later this month. On Wednesday, August 26th I will be speaking to the Charleston County Clemson Club in their Countdown to Kickoff. The event will feature former Clemson superstar Woody Dantzler who will be available for autographs and pictures. Join us from 5-8 PM at Charleston Sports Pub in West Ashley. On Friday, August 28th I will be speaking to the Columbia Clemson Club for their Football Kickoff Luncheon. This luncheon will begin at noon at Seawell's 1125 Rosewood Drive.
