No Slip Ups

It has happened 22 times this season.

It has happened every week this season.

This weekend Clemson, FSU, Michigan, Akron, Alabama, Oregon, UCLA, Arizona, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Florida, Western Kentucky, LSU, Louisiana Tech, South Carolina, Central Florida, Boise State, SMU, Cincinnati, Texas, San Jose State, Notre Dame, Georgia, BYU and Rutgers hope it doesn't happen to them.

What I am writing about today is the times a double digit favorite has been beaten straight up in college football this season.

Clemson is a 31.5 point favorite over Maryland this week. There have been two games this season where teams have been a favorite by 30 or more points and lost this season. Houston was a 34.5 point favorite over Texas State and lost 30-13 in week one. That is the biggest point spread favorite to lose this season. Arkansas was a 30 point favorite over Louisiana Monroe before losing 34-31.
