Mickey,

Why is it so hard for Swinney and the staff to recruit RBs? Is it the system? Also, do you sense that Clemson is going to be much more run heavy this season, perhaps the most since the days of A. Ellington?
Thanks,

Nathan

Nathan,

Maybe the rankings don’t indicate it, but didn't the last running back here break the school record for single season rushing yards? Didn’t he recruit Ellington and Spiller? Wasn't Feaster highly regarded? Didn’t they just into Louisiana and beat LSU for Etienne? WRU t-shirts work here but don’t in Athens, GA. Their fans are asking why they are able to sign all of these backs, but can't get talent at WR? Here we love the WRs but complain about our backs. I would say this staff is doing OK.

Mick,

How bad is Kent State? What are your expectations for Saturday? Thanks.

Curtis

Curtis,

Kent State is not very good. They will not put up much of a fight. I expect Clemson to “hang half a hundred on em.” I expect to see a bunch of guys get their feet wet and Clemson to cover 41 points, but it is the opener and you never really know.

Mickey,

What positions are we better this year compared to last year and what positions are we worse? My guess is quarterback, tight end and maybe running back. Go Tigers!

David

David,
I agree on quarterback and tight end, but I am not sure that this group isn’t better as a whole at running back. The keys will be Feaster’s development and the emergence of Etienne.
