Mickey,
On Dye this kid not tear his Achilles in Feb or March? Of this year? Other athletes need a full year to come back from this injury, how come anyone is even mentioning this kid coming back and playing this season? If he needs a year, that puts him back by the spring, if he's lucky. We've had to many players brought back to early over the years. Here's to hoping it doesn't happen with Dye.
Jason
Jason,
I saw him the first day of practice and the first day of pads and he is no where near ready to play. Some are saying he may be ready sometime in October but to me he looks like he is a long way off. If he plays this year I will say that is a bonus. He was put back in a boot this week and told to take time off. Anything they get from him this year would be a bonus.
Mickey,
What's up with Peake? Is it the same knee? Is he gonna play against Georgia? Thanks. Beat the Dawgs!
Carl
Carl,
It is the same knee but it is a different injury. I think this is his meniscus. He looked good running on the sidelines last week and I think he could be ready for the Georgia game. Next week will be big in determining if he is ready.
Mick,
I heard you gave us no chance of winning in Tallahassee. Oh you of little faith. We are gonna shock the world in Doak. Mark my words!
Stan
Stan,
I hope I am dead wrong and I hope you look like a genius. I just think FSU is a heck of a lot better than anyone in the country right now. They have the best player in the country, the nation's best offensive line, an All-American tight end and wide receiver and some terrific talent at running back. On defense there are NFL prospects everywhere. No one is unbeatable but Clemson will have to play an above its head to win against the nation's top ranked team.
