Mickey,

I read your blog article, "Is 40 Obtainable?"  Hindsight is 20/20 (I now know we lost to Liberty), but I still would have said an emphatic "NO" after we lost to Pittsburgh over the weekend.  Clemson baseball is in a sad state.  The administration has stuck with Leggett for sentimental reasons.  In spite of repeated assurances that "this season" things will turn around for the baseball program, we have been sorely disappointed for several seasons in a row.   It is time to replace Leggett and bring in a new head coach.

Kindest Regards,

Kirk

Kirk,

I am also very disappointed in this season and the past few seasons. I thought this would have been the season where everything turned around. I thought this was a top ten team this year but it has certainly not lived up to the expectations. I am not sure what the answers are but I know a lot of fans are not satisfied, not should they be.

Mickey,

KJ's legacy will be, "He could've been the best ever to play at Clemson. He could've achieved heights no one else has at Clemson Basketball. Now, he is just an afterthought in the discussion about Clemson greats.

Greg Buckner didn't have all the SportsCenter Top 10 plays but he had 3 years of NCAA tournaments including a run to the Sweet 16 that should've been a trip to the Elite 8 to face a UCLA team that we would've beaten for a trip to the Final Four.

KJ is behind such greats as Greg Buckner, Dale Davis, Banks McFadden, Larry Nance, and others who stayed for their entire careers.

Good luck KJ

Sean

Sean,

Selfishly, I wish KJ would have come back for his senior year. I also trust Brad BrownellBrad Brownell

and his staff to develop KJ and thought he could have benefitted him. However, I don't blame him for chasing his dream and making millions in the process. I disagree that he will be an afterthought in Clemson basketball greats. I also am not convinced he would have been the greatest in Clemson history if he had come back.

Mickey,

Do u c Jack letting PEP go after this year? I know in the past he has been reluctant to fire coaches (ie. Ringos). My guess unless Pep takes another job he will be here again.

Kevin

Kevin,

I can't speak for Jack and his thoughts, but I am also not sure how much blame Pep should get. Its easy to criticize outside of the program but I am not inside the program and can't speak to where the blame falls.

Hi Mickey

I enjoy reading your blogs. Thanks for all you do in support of Clemson.  This Freedom From Religion thing really disturbs me.  I think we all need to show our support to both the athletic department as well as to the Clemson administration in general who will undoubtedly be under tremendous pressure.  Will you provide the Clemson supporters with the appropriate email addresses and mailing addresses for the proper persons where we can send correspondence showing our support and encouraging them not to give in to this crazy organization?

Thanks and Happy Easter!
