|Six former Tigers do well at NFL Combine|

Clemson, SC—Jacoby Ford posted the fastest time 40-yard dash time of all players at the NFL Combine over the last four days, while former teammate C.J. Spiller had the fourth best overall time according to data released by the NFL on Tuesday afternoon.
Ford and Spiller were two of six former Tigers who took part in the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, IN over the last four days. All six former Tigers posted top five performances in at least one area of the workouts. The NFL Combine ended on Tuesday afternoon.
Former Clemson All-American Spiller ran a time of 4.37, fourth best among all players and second best among running backs. Only Jahvid Best of California had a faster time among running backs with a 4.35 figure. Spiller is the highest rated running back for the 2010 NFL draft by most experts and should be a top 15 overall pick.
Former Clemson defensive end Ricky Sapp ran a 4.70 in the 40, fifth best among all defensive linemen. Linebacker Kavell Conner, Clemson’s top tackler last season, ran a 4.63 in the 40, third best among all linebackers.
Two former Clemson defensive backs took part in the NFL Combine. Crezdon Butler had a vertical jump of 39.5 inches, third best among cornerbacks, while Chris Chancellor had a 4.07 in the 20-yard shuttle run, third best among cornerbacks and tied for fifth best among all players.
The NFL draft will be held in New York City, Thursday, April 22 through Saturday, April 24.
