CLEMSON, S.C. -- According to multiple sources, Tommy Bowden has been released as head football coach of the Clemson Tigers.
Assistant coach Dabo Swinney will take over as the interim head coach for the rest of the season.
Clemson will hold a press conference today at 5:15PM EST to announce the changes.
The Tigers (3-3, 1-2 ACC) will face Georgia Tech on Saturday.
