TigerNet Announces Plyler's Tiger Source

by -

TigerNet is excited to announce Tiger Source, a new recruiting information service, which will launch on July 1. Tiger Source will follow recruiting throughout the Southeast with a heavy emphasis on Clemson's recruiting efforts. The Tiger Source team will be lead by WCCP-FM's Mickey Plyler, who has been in the recruiting industry since 1993. "I am so excited to get back involved with a website again," said Plyler. "This is a unique opportunity for a couple of reasons. First is the team that we have put together for the site. We have several sources from across the South and a fulltime staff that is ready to provide outstanding coverage. Also the opportunity to work with Tommy Crumpton and TigerNet is a tremendous advantage. I have been approached by several website people with ideas in the last two years, but when Crump came to us I could not turn him down. His work on TigerNet is unparalleled. I have so much respect for the TigerNet community and the hard work Crump has down through the years. I hope we will continue to add to the TigerNet experience."

“I’m really looking forward to this project,” said Crumpton. “Mickey has always the person Clemson fans have trusted for their inside Clemson news, and it’s going to be great to have him on TigerNet. This service will help people get the latest Clemson recruiting news available and also provide revenue that helps keep the rest of the site free." Tiger Source will launch on July 1 and will feature several an extensive recruiting database, daily updates, a message board and a e-mail answering service. "We will update the site several times per day and hope to provide the most accurate information available," says Plyler. The Tiger Source staff will cover camps, scrimmages, jamborees first hand and have the latest news on prospects from across the South. Members will be allowed to e-mail questions to the staff and the answers will be posted on a daily bases. Tiger Source will be free for the first two weeks and a subscriptions will be required starting July 15. Subscriptions are packaged at $6.99 per month or a yearly subscription for only $69.99, a savings of almost $14 per year off of the monthly rate. Up to 50% discount will be offered to TigerNet donor members. Look for more on Tiger Source in the upcoming days on TigerNet.
