Clemson’s 2013 recruiting class will more than likely get a boost this weekend from 2013 defensive back Marcus Edmond.

Edmond, out of Hopkins (SC) Lower Richland, is rated as the No. 12 prospect in the state according to Rivals, and has been committed to N.C. State since last June.

Edmond played mostly quarterback last season and passed for 1,230 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushed for 858 yards and 10 touchdowns. He had 48 tackles, 14 assists, four interceptions and four passes broken up on defense.
