Montravius Adams Adams took his second official visit to Clemson this past weekend, making the trip up from Georgia on Friday and staying on campus until Sunday afternoon. Adams told TigerNet this week that he and his family had a good time on the visit. “It was a good visit,” the 5-tar defensive tackle out of Vienna (GA) Dooly County said. “It was me and my momma and my sister. This visit was all about just getting to know the coaches better, and letting my family learn more about the coaches.” Adams said his mother liked the visit. “She liked it a lot,” he said. “I had already met most of the players, so this was all about talking to the coaches.” Adams said he attended supper in the WestZone Friday night, went for dessert at Clemson head coach
Dabo SwinneyDabo Swinney “We went to the banquet, and I got to meet Brian Dawkins,” he said. “That was good. And just seeing how things are up there.” He said he also spent time with Swinney, who had a special message for him. “We really didn’t talk about football,” he said. “We just talked about life and the kind of person he wants me to be.” Adams, who said he doesn’t have a leader at this point, will visit Alabama this weekend and Georgia the weekend after that. He has already visited Florida and Clemson, and said he will choose between Auburn and Southern Cal for his fifth and final visit. As a senior, he had 127 tackles, 31 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. As a junior, he had 84 tackles, 45 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.
