Gainesville football made a dashing entrance into Region 8-AAAAA football on Friday, blitzing Winder-Barrow 69-0 in Winder.

The Red Elephants (2-1, 1-0 Region 8-AAAAA) led 62-0 at halftime and racked up 547 yards offense in the victory. Gainesville also held the Bulldoggs (0-3, 0-1) to just 12 yards of offense in sending Winder to its 27th straight defeat.
