From Billy Tucker of ESPN:
This is a strong, sturdy runner and potential load back for the Tigers. While offensive coordinator Chad Morris’ offense is built around explosive weapons in the passing game, he also relies on a featured back to remain balanced and force defenses to be honest. Dye should do that for Clemson. He is physically ready to make the jump to the next level and he has the frame and downhill running strength to move the chains and force defenses to load up the box.
Clemson has not signed an ESPN 150 running back since Mike Bellamy in 2011, so this was a position of need and we believe it's been filled well with
Tyshon Dye
