Clemson offered on 1/16/13. As sophomore, he had 70 tackles and 13 sacks and on offense he had 7 touchdowns.

He took an unofficial visit to Clemson on 10/6/12. Virginia was the first school to offer him. His father Dayne Williams played fullback for FSU in the late-80s.
