(Ninety-Six, S.C./Ninety-Six) got his first test in quite some time. After breaking his femur and tearing his ACL last year, he saw his first camp action of the spring and summer at Dawg Nite. What was his reaction? "I thought everything went pretty well considering," Jones said. "I played about as I expected. It's seems like it's been a really long time and the leg felt good out there. That was like my first real competition in about a year. "It was good to get out there and compete. It was good to see the coaching style of Coach [Will] Friend. I didn't get a Georgia offer but I should hear from them next week." While he waits on the Dawgs, Jones has offers from several other schools, including South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina, NC State, East Carolina, Kentucky and Illinois. "Right now I feel pretty open," Jones said. "Georgia was my first camp this summer. I went to Clemson's but didn't participate. Right now I like Georgia, Clemson, North Carolina and South Carolina." Attended Clemson's junior day in March. Class of 2012 ESPNU 150 Watch List Recruit. He has visited Clemson, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina. #22 rated player and 4 star recruit based on the 2012 AthleteVault NC/SC Rankings.
