He has taken unofficial visits to Tennessee, LSU, and South Carolina. He has camped at Tennessee in 2010. Named No. 15 overall recruit in the nation and No. 1 in the Carolinas by national analyst Tom Lemming. The Observer named Humphries the top junior in the state.
